Hello,
Today's card contains a technique called ghosting which I have learnt from Shea Marshall from the Inspired by Stamping site. Please click here if you wish to see the tutorial.
For the background I "ghosted" the leaves in a random fashion then flicked some water for the little splashed effect. I had so much fun with this new technique and I think it looks great.
For some added interest I stamped and embossed some butterflies in the corner with clear embossing powder. Then stamped and embossed some more butterflies in white for the little popped up panel. The sentiment is also embossed in white and reads "always".
Stamps used:
Butterflies - Grace Taylor (sorry, don't know which set it came from, lost the packaging)
Leaves - BasicGrey, Dainty set
Sentiment - Stampin Up, Small Script set
Hope you enjoyed my card today.
Thank you for stopping by.
Phi
